In "Let's Dance" all eyes are on Anna Ermakova. And not just because she is Boris Becker's daughter. In the introductory show, she has already put her talent to the test. And her dance partner Valentin Lusin is also very taken with her.
14 candidates are at the start of "Let's Dance". But after the introductory show a week ago, one thing really stands out: Anna Ermakova.
This is not only due to her eye-catching appearance and the fact that she is Boris Becker's daughter. No, the 22-year-old is already quite good on the dance floor. That gave her a direct ticket, so that she is protected from being eliminated in the first regular "Let's Dance" edition.
Nevertheless, she and her dance partner Valentin Lusin naturally want to give their all for the forthcoming tango. That's why they chose "a very difficult choreography", reveals the dance professional in the RTL interview. "Yes, very difficult. Thank you, Valentin!" Ermakova replies, apparently snippy.
But the reaction is only played. In fact, the two seem to get along really well. Lusin gets enthusiastic when he talks about Ermakova. "I was so happy that I got Anna," he explains, adding: "She's a great candidate. 'Let's Dance' is a lot of fun." Ermakova listens enraptured and politely thanks her for the praise.
"I'm having a lot of fun, but it's difficult, it's fast," Ermakova says of the upcoming challenge on the show. "A little bit of a challenge. Not a little bit, but a lot of a challenge," adds the London native, making it clear that she's currently still working on a second challenge: learning German.
Everyone can hear the progress she is making. Lusin, in turn, evaluates her skills on the floor. "She has talent," is his verdict. "But of course she still has a lot to learn," he says. For example, this week they would have had the problem of assigning her a dominant and strict role. "Anna is very down to earth, very shy," says Lusin. However, her tango is designed so that "simply the woman tells you where to go. Very strong, very sexy, very nasty."
Nevertheless, he was sure that everything would go smoothly when she appeared. Ermakova's glittering silver dress alone will give her wings. "Yes, the dress and the quirks help," agrees his dance partner and immediately learns her next lesson: make-up simply means make-up in German.
