Suddenly a princess: singer LaFee got married

When she takes off with German crossover sounds, LaFee is still a teenager. But that was a few years ago now. The singer of songs like "Prinzesschen" and "Hello" is now 31 years old – and has been married since the weekend.

When LaFee took the stage in the music circus in 2006, their sound and performance fit the times like a glove. Shortly before her, Tokio Hotel had helped German teenage grunge to unimagined heights. Shortly after her, Eisblume carried rocking gothic sounds into children's rooms as well as into the charts. Right in between, LaFee fits in perfectly - with crossover pop for pubescent teenagers and fake tattoos on the face.

At that time, the singer, born Christina Klein in December 1990, was 16. "I wish you a virus, I wish you nasty pimples on your face" or "Yes, princess, it's easy for you, your parents are filthy rich," she smashed in her first hits "Virus" and "Prinzesschen" in 2006 towards the listeners.

The following year she had another chart success with "Heul Doch" before she visibly disappeared from the limelight again. But lo and behold: With her long player "Back to the Future", released in 2021, she actually made it to number seven in the German album charts again.

For the 31-year-old, on the other hand, her private life should only go forward into the future. So the singer got married last weekend, as she only now announced on her Instagram page. LaFee also posted a series of photos showing her posing with her groom, tasting the wedding cake or on the dance floor.

LaFee wore a strapless white dress with a train. Her husband, on the other hand, opted for a classic black suit with a white shirt and bow tie. According to the placemark for the post, the wedding ceremony took place at Arff Castle, northwest of downtown Cologne.

"YES for here and now! YES for a lifetime," LaFee captioned the recordings. It was "probably the most emotional and most beautiful day" of her life. "On 8/27/22 it was time and we made a promise to all our loved ones," she also clarified.

The guests apparently included ex-"Bachelor" Andrej Mangold. Anyway, he commented on the post: "Thank you for letting me spend this wonderful day with you." Others, on the other hand, would have liked to have been there. "Congratulations, all the best love and good luck to the pretty couple! You look great. I would have loved to celebrate with you," wrote moderator Nina Moghaddam. And actor Lars Korten commented: "What? How cool, my little daughter and my favorite ray of light, all the best, congratulations." Until recently, Korten played the role of Christoph Lukowski in the RTL series "Everything that counts". LaFee starred as his daughter Iva on the show from 2014 to 2017.
