Two people were arrested after a 16 year-old cyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a car.

Two people were arrested after a 16 year-old cyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a car.

After the collision on Fabian Way in Swansea, a woman aged 39 and a man 38 were taken into custody and remain there.

It occurred at approximately 14:30 BST Saturday, near the SA1/Port Tennant junction. South Wales Police officers closed the road for six hours in an effort to investigate.

The University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff is treating the 16-year old.

Police sought witnesses and anyone who had a dashcam, a mobile phone, or CCTV footage to contact them.
