Actor John Aniston, known from the TV series "Days of Our Lives", has died at the age of 89. His daughter, Hollywood star Jennifer Aniston, announced this on Instagram. "Sweet papa...John Anthony Aniston, you were one of the most wonderful people I have ever known," the actress writes.

She is grateful that her father fell asleep peacefully on November 11 and was not in pain, the 53-year-old continues. The deceased had always had "perfect timing" and the date will be even more important for her in the future than before. "I will love you to the end of time," said the "Friends" star.
