It is now official that what was reported last week is true.

Terry McLaurin, a receiver with the Commanders has signed a three-year extension to his contract, the team announced Tuesday.

McLaurin will be paid a maximum of $70-$71million under the deal. Ian Rapoport, NFL Media's reporter on McLaurin, reported that McLaurin was awarded a $28 million signing bonus as well as $34.6 million in fully guaranteed signing bonuses.

McLaurin thanked Dan and Tanya Snyder, team owners, for the "amazing opportunity" to him and his family to return to their team and try to help them achieve their goals.

Since Washington selected McLaurin in the third round, McLaurin has tallied 222 catches for 3,090 yard with 16 touchdowns. McLaurin was able to catch 77 passes last year for 1,053 yards and five touchdowns.
