Almost a fifth of fourth graders can't read properly, almost a third can't write properly, and in math, almost 22 percent of fourth graders don't even meet the minimum standards required to attend secondary school. And only a little more than half of the fourth graders still achieve the standard standards set by the Conference of Ministers of Education. These are the results of the IQB education trends recently presented by the Institute for Quality Control in Education.
