Julian Nagelsmann has a new love: the Bayern coach is in a relationship with a "Bild" reporter. Lena Wurzenberger, who previously also reported on FC Bayern, is probably taking a short vacation to Ibiza with her new love. This is reported by the "Bild" newspaper. As "Sport 1" confirms, a photo showing Nagelsmann and Wurzenberger together on vacation circulated in WhatsApp groups on Wednesday - on a yacht off Ibiza. "The master trainer doesn't have to make a secret of his new relationship," says "Sport 1".
The "Bild" newspaper released the 30-year-old reporter from reporting on FC Bayern with immediate effect. This is to prevent a possible conflict of interest between your private and professional life. As "Sport 1" reports, Wurzenberger reported on the Bayern coach in May and had direct discussions with him.
Not much of the journalist can be seen on social media. Wurzenberger has set her Instagram account to private, and there are no more updates on her Facebook page either. She had her first major public appearance before the start of the season - Nagelsmann had just become Bayern coach - on the football show "Stahlwerk Doppelpass", where she was invited as a Bayern expert.
Nagelsmann recently separated from his childhood sweetheart. On June 3, various media reported that the 15-year relationship with his wife Verena had ended. The couple knows each other from home in Landsberg am Lech and got married in 2018. The two have two children - a seven-year-old son and a two-year-old daughter.
According to a report in the "Bild" newspaper, the couple separated because they had grown apart. Nagelsmann is said to have moved out immediately after the separation – the family lived together in Chiemgau until the separation.
