The visit of Charles III maintained despite the strikes

The British government said on Thursday "not aware of any change in plans" for Charles III's visit to France, stirred by a major social movement against a controversial pension reform. King Charles is due to arrive on a state visit on Sunday, which is likely to be disrupted by protests. "I am not aware of any plans to change the plan," a Downing Street spokesman said Thursday.

The monarch is expected in France as part of his first state visit since assuming the throne in September. Accompanied by his wife Queen Camilla, he will stay there until March 29 before going to Germany until the 31st. banquet at the Palace of Versailles, near Paris, before going to Bordeaux.

The program could however be disrupted, the unions mobilized against the pension reform in France having already announced that the royal visit was "in their sights". Buckingham Palace ensures to follow the situation closely.
