Thuringia: 23-year-old drives against gas station pump

Sömmerda (dpa/th) - In Sömmerda, a driver drove into a gas pump while maneuvering on a gas station site for no apparent reason. The 23-year-old was unharmed, police said on Saturday. Drug and breath alcohol tests were therefore negative. The man was not able to explain the reason for his driving maneuver to the officials on Friday evening, it said. There was damage of around 4,000 euros to the gas pump and around 1,500 euros to the car.
