In the Steinach winter sports area, for example, there were as many centimeters of snow on the mountain on Tuesday morning as the Thuringian Forest regional association in Suhl announced. In the valley it was 13 centimeters.
According to the winter sports report, around 110 kilometers of groomed cross-country skiing trails were available to people. In addition, sports enthusiasts could let off steam on ten toboggan slopes or walk along 31 winter hiking trails.
