Thuringia: 58-year-old transfers 2000 euros to tricksters

Dittersdorf (dpa / th) - A 58-year-old from Dittersdorf (district Schleiz) has lost 2000 euros to tricksters. The woman received a letter with an alleged confirmation of winnings of 79,000 euros, said a police spokeswoman on Tuesday. In order to receive the profit, the woman was asked to transfer 2,000 euros for alleged notary costs. After the transfer, the 58-year-old had "a strange feeling" and turned to the police. This is now determined, but that is not very promising, according to the spokeswoman.
