Erfurt (dpa/th) - A woman died in an accident with a tram in Erfurt. The 86-year-old got between two wagons at the Tschaikowskistraße stop on Tuesday afternoon, the police said on Wednesday. There she fell and was run over by the approaching tram. Paramedics tried unsuccessfully to resuscitate her. The cause of the accident is so far unclear. The police are investigating.
