Erfurt (dpa/th) - A 64-year-old woman died in a collision with a tram in Erfurt. As the police announced on Tuesday, a tram caught the woman on Monday evening at the Drosselberg stop in the Melchendorf district. The 64-year-old succumbed to her injuries at the scene of the accident. The tram driver received psychological care after the accident.
It is still unclear exactly how the accident happened. The tram line was disrupted in the area of the accident for at least an hour.
