Thuringia: ambulance collides with deer: 5000 euros damage

Stadtilm (dpa/th) - In the Ilm district, an ambulance collided with deer after an operation. Both occupants were unharmed in the crash early Saturday morning, police said. The ambulance was traveling between the Griesheim district and Stadtilm after an operation had ended when the animals jumped onto the road coming from a river. The collision caused damage to the ambulance of around 5,000 euros. The animals jumped away.
