Kahla (dpa / th) - An accident on a closed level crossing in the Saale-Holzland district went out lightly. A 36-year-old wanted to cross the embankment, which was closed due to construction work, with her car in Großeutersdorf on Monday despite signs. She got her car stuck, the police said. The driver got out and made her way to safety. A train hit her car, which was dragged a few meters.
One of the more than 90 passengers on the train was slightly injured, it said. The driver was in shock. According to the police, the damage to the still drivable train amounts to around 10,000 euros. The car was totaled.
