Thuringia: Cabinet on forest rescue and digitization

Erfurt (dpa/th) - The cabinet in Thuringia is advising on digitization in public administration today, Tuesday. A report for 2021 assesses the IT security situation in Bavaria as very tense and critical. In the past year, e-mails with malware were repeatedly among the most frequently detected attacks on state administration systems. After the deliberations in the government media conference (1 p.m.), State Secretary for Finance Hartmut Schubert wants to provide information on current developments.

The conference will also deal with the implementation status of the Forest Action Plan. Together with the board of directors of Thüringenforst, Jörg Ripken, Forest Minister Susanna Karawanskij (left) will present the third report. According to her, the aim of the "Forest Action Plan 2030ff" is to develop the forest in a future-proof manner for future generations in times of climate change. Reforestation and forest conversion towards more mixed forests are to be supported by the state with a total of 176 million euros by 2036.
