Unterbreizbach (dpa/th) - Two children and a man were seriously injured in a car accident near Unterbreizbach (Wartburg district). The 36-year-old driver left the road with his car for an unknown reason and crashed into a tree on Saturday afternoon, said a spokesman for the state operations center. His nine-year-old son and a non-family 12-year-old boy were in the car with him. All three occupants were seriously injured. The 12-year-old was flown to the hospital in a rescue helicopter. Danger to life cannot be ruled out, said the police spokesman.
