Thuringia: car lands in Lütschestausee: two men slightly injured

Geratal (dpa/th) - On Thursday morning, a car was recovered from the Lütschestausee in the north of the Thuringian Forest. An 18-year-old man had driven the vehicle into the lake around midnight from Frankenhain (Ilm-Kreis) in the course of an accident, the police said on Thursday morning. He went off the road in a right-hand bend, drove down a slope and then landed in the Lütschestausee by car. The 18-year-old with a breath alcohol level of 1.2 per mille and his passenger were able to escape from the vehicle with minor injuries.
