Erfurt (dpa/th) - People in Thuringia can expect a cloudy and partly foggy weekend. On Friday morning there was fog in places with visibility below 150 meters, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced in the morning. From the afternoon rain falls. The maximum values are between six and nine degrees, at higher altitudes between three and six. There will be a few showers on Saturday night. The lows are between five and two degrees.
Saturday should be mostly without precipitation. "There are half clouds and half sun. You can go out there without an umbrella," said a spokesman for the DWD. The day will be quite friendly. Temperatures drop to two to zero degrees on Sunday night, and to minus one degree at higher altitudes. There is frost near the ground.
According to the DWD, it will often be foggy on Sunday morning, then clear up. "There are more subdued temperatures, especially in the early hours," said the spokesman for the DWD. Ice is also possible on Sunday morning. Light rain and frost will come on Monday night, with snow in the higher elevations. The lowest temperatures range from three to one degree, in the higher altitudes to minus two degrees. Monday will also remain cloudy and occasionally rainy.
