Thuringia: dog locked in the blazing sun at 33 degrees in the car

Sonneberg (dpa/th) - A woman locked her dog in the car when the outside temperature was 33 degrees Celsius. Passers-by had observed how the animal tried to squeeze itself out through a small gap in the window on Monday and gasped for air. The police announced on Tuesday. The officers who were summoned managed to locate the owner while she was shopping in a supermarket. The 32-year-old was reported for violating the Animal Welfare Act.
