Greiz (dpa/th) - When fleeing the police, a driver in Greiz wrecked his car. At the same time, two occupants were slightly injured. Police officers wanted to check the man in the morning hours, but he fled at high speed, the state police inspectorate in Gera said on Sunday. He lost control of his car, which crashed into a wall and a stone pillar. Tests showed that the driver was under the influence of alcohol and drugs. He also didn't have a driver's license and the car wasn't insured.
