Gerstungen (dpa/th) - According to initial estimates, an accident between a truck and an agricultural vehicle caused damage of more than 100,000 euros in Gerstungen in the Wartburg district. A 40-year-old was driving his tractor and an attached hay baler on Landesstraße 1021 in the direction of Gerstungen when a truck with a 47-year-old at the wheel came towards him on Wednesday, the police said on Thursday. The tractor driver swerved to the right with his team. According to the information, the attached hay baler first crashed into trees on the side of the road and then into the oncoming truck. Both drivers were unharmed, police said.
