Erfurt (dpa/th) - The bat Fidi of the children's channel KiKA has been present in Erfurt since Saturday as the 16th character from the children's program of ARD and ZDF. The sculpture of the bat from the "KiKA tree house" found its place on the Petersberg. For the 25th birthday of the children's channel, Fidi was included in the ranks of the KiKA characters in Erfurt, where the station is based.
The idea of putting up the children's favorite characters came up on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the children's channel in 2007. Bernd, bread was the starting point. He was followed by the sandman, mouse and elephant, and the dragon Tabaluga. Captain Blaubär and his companion Hein Blöd are also present in Erfurt - the sailors paddle in the middle of the Gera, befitting their status.
