Thuringia: Five-year-old seriously injured by a dog bite

Bad Liebenstein (dpa/th) - A dog bit a five-year-old boy and seriously injured him. The animal was leashed on a property in Bad Liebenstein (Wartburgkreis), but according to previous knowledge it was able to free itself, the police said on Tuesday. The dog then bit the left arm of the boy passing the property. Because the child was seriously injured by the bite on Tuesday, a rescue helicopter brought it to a special clinic.
