Hermsdorf (dpa/th) - Four people were seriously injured in an accident at the Hermsdorf-Ost junction on Autobahn 4. A 30-year-old driver left the road on Tuesday morning, drove onto the guardrail and rolled over, the police said on Tuesday. He then collided with an emergency telephone and the crash barrier of the oncoming lane. Two other adults and an infant were in the vehicle. The injured were taken to the hospital. There was property damage of around EUR 8,000. It was initially unclear exactly how the accident happened.
