Erfurt (dpa/th) - People in Thuringia can enjoy the sun again today. The Tuesday starts friendly with lots of sunshine, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced in the morning. According to this, dense clouds will gather in the afternoon coming from the west, but it will remain dry until the evening. The maximum temperatures are between 11 and 15 degrees Celsius, in higher mountain areas a weak south-east wind ensures temperatures between 9 and 11 degrees Celsius.
On Wednesday night, clouds will gradually gather from the west and there will be showers in some areas. Temperatures drop to as low as 4 degrees Celsius. According to the DWD, many clouds and local showers are expected on Wednesday. Temperatures drop to 7 to 10 degrees Celsius in the mountains to 5 to 9 degrees.
