Thuringia: Jena sends fine notices as part of compulsory vaccination

Jena (dpa/th) - The city of Jena has imposed fines on 654 employees of health and care facilities in connection with the obligation to vaccinate. Those affected had not submitted any proof of vaccination protection against the SARS-Cov-2 virus. As the city administration announced on Friday, the fine notices will be sent out promptly. However, the payment does not have to be made until March 1, 2023. The group of people affected should not be disproportionately burdened by the fines at Christmas and the turn of the year. The city initially did not provide any information on the amount of the fines. There are no entry bans, it said.
