Erfurt (dpa/th) - On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Erfurt Natural History Museum, parts of the collection will be shown in the city's art gallery for the first time. Exhibits include numerous stuffed animals from the Natural History Museum's magazines and collections, including a stuffed tiger, lioness, wolf, and various birds. According to the information, the anniversary show shows a large number of objects that have never been shown before and which were previously only accessible to a specialist audience.

According to the city, the Natural History Museum has the spatial opportunity in the Kunsthalle to comprehensively present the diversity of the collections, the educational work, preparation and research to the visitors. The official opening is on Thursday (6.30 p.m.), and the exhibition will then be open to all visitors from Friday.
