Erfurt (dpa/th) - Five people were injured in a fight between eight women and men in a backyard in Erfurt on Saturday. The group had probably first sat together and drunk before there was an argument, as the police announced on Monday morning. It is not yet clear what triggered it.
A kitchen knife and a garden hoe were used in the altercation. Injuries sustained by those involved include knocked out teeth, abrasions and lacerations. In addition, an unknown resident shouted inciting slogans out of the window. The police were on site with several patrol cars. She is investigating dangerous bodily harm and hate speech.
