Thuringia: Man seriously injured after a crash with a paraglider

Saalfeld (dpa/th) - A 53-year-old man crashed in Gräfenthal (Saalfeld-Rudolstadt district) with a paraglider and was seriously injured. The man fell into a group of trees on Saturday afternoon when landing and fell eight meters, the police said on Monday morning. He was then taken to a hospital in a rescue helicopter. How exactly the accident happened is still being determined, police said.
