Schleusingen (dpa/th) - On Saturday, numerous families at Bertholdsburg Castle in Schleusingen (district of Hildburghausen) took a trip back in time to the past, around 500 years ago. According to the organizer, the program of "Bertholds-Burgfest" included knight performances and musical performances and folk songs with harp, alphorn, glockenspiel and kettledrum. In the castle courtyard and on the squares in front of it, craftsmen and traders presented themselves and held medieval market days. Puppeteers and jugglers entertained the younger visitors in particular with their performances.
