(dpa/th) - A motorcyclist hit a car on Friday afternoon on Autobahn 4 near Bucha (Saale-Holzland district) and was fatally injured. The 40-year-old suffered serious head injuries and died at the scene of the accident. The driver was not injured.
According to the police, the 69-year-old woman drove her car at the Bucha junction onto the A4 towards Frankfurt am Main. Behind her, a motorcyclist also drove onto the A4, accelerated and collided with the car. The road was completely closed for three hours.
