Thuringia: Naked man rescued from Unstrut under drugs

Sömmerda (dpa/th) - A naked man under the influence of drugs has been rescued from the Unstrut near Sömmerda. The 31-year-old threatened to drown in the river on Tuesday, police said on Wednesday. Previously, he had already jumped around the bank without clothes and then went into the Unstrut. Rescue workers took the hypothermic man to a nearby hospital. According to the police on Wednesday morning, he was carrying around 100 grams of hashish and several hundred euros in cash. He is now being investigated for drug trafficking.
