Thuringia: Oil track on the A4 brings traffic to a standstill

Wandersleben (dpa/th) - tire parts on Autobahn 4 damaged the oil pan of a truck, and oil leaked onto the road. According to the Hermsdorf motorway police, the semi-trailer of a semi-trailer had a flat tire early on Saturday morning, in which tire parts came loose. A truck driving near the Drei Gleichen car park in the direction of Dresden behind the semitrailer collided with the tire parts. The truck's oil pan was damaged. The vehicle left a trail of oil about 500 meters long. Nobody was harmed during the accident. Due to clearance and cleaning work, the A4 was temporarily closed for three hours.
