Thuringia: on the way to work: man leaves the car after an accident

Weira (dpa/th) - A 28-year-old left his car in the ditch in the Saale-Orla district on Tuesday morning after an accident. He was on his way to work and wanted to walk after the accident, the police said on Wednesday. As a blood test showed, the man was under the influence of drugs. He also had other narcotics with him. According to the police, the 28-year-old is expected to face charges of hit-and-run, violation of the Narcotics Act and drunk driving.
