Oberhof (dpa/th) - A few months before the luge world championship and the world championship in biathlon in Oberhof, the Thuringian cabinet is visiting the winter sports resort today and looking at the competition venues. Then Prime Minister Bodo Ramelow, Thuringia's Sports Minister Helmut Holter (both left) and the Oberhof Commissioner Hartmut Schubert will provide information on the status of the preparations.
The luge world championships will take place in Oberhof, southern Thuringia, from January 23 to 29, 2023 in the LOTTO-Thuringia ice arena. Oberhof is also the venue for the 53rd Biathlon World Championships from February 8th to 19th, 2023.
