Thuringia: rear-end collision: 51-year-old motorcyclist seriously injured

Gera (dpa/th) - A 51-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured when a car hit her machine. According to the Gera police, the motorcyclist wanted to turn onto a dirt road on the L1037 between Großebersdorf and Lederhose when a car collided with her from behind. Accordingly, the 51-year-old woman was seriously injured in the collision and had to be taken to a hospital. The 42-year-old driver was not injured. Significant property damage was caused to both vehicles, which the police forces could not yet quantify. The police are investigating the accident.
