The number of pigs slaughtered rose by 2,638 animals or 2.1 percent to 130,956, while the number of cattle fell by 2,105 animals or 2.9 percent to 69,471. The decline in sheep with 414 animals (minus 10.5 percent) to 3515 animals and goats with a decrease of 35 animals (minus 6.1 percent) to 537 was clearer.
