Erfurt (dpa/th) - A police special task force stormed an apartment in Erfurt. The emergency services gained access to an apartment in an apartment building on Ernst-Abbe-Strasse early Wednesday morning, the police said on Wednesday morning. Accordingly, investigations into financial blackmail led the police to the alleged suspects. In the course of the operation, it was assumed that the alleged perpetrators had at least one weapon. For this reason, according to the police, the SLK was brought in.
Officers found three men and one woman in the home. The police must now determine what role the four played in the course of the financial extortion and whether they are all potential suspects. The police initially did not want to disclose more details about the alleged extortion, nor did they want to give more details about the alleged suspects. Nobody was injured during the operation.
