Thuringia: Syrian security service employee attacked

Erfurt (dpa/th) - In Erfurt, two men are said to have attacked and insulted a Syrian employee of a security service. Early on Saturday morning, one of the people threw a bottle at the man's emergency vehicle, police said. When he wanted to confront the attacker, he was insulted by both men hostile to foreigners. They both punched and kicked him. The injured man got into his car and called the police. He needed medical treatment. The two male perpetrators disappeared, they are said to have been accompanied by a woman. The police is now looking for witnesses.
