Greiz (dpa/th) - With the help of eyewitnesses, the police found a driver who had previously hit a child. The 68-year-old was driving her car in Endschütz, Thuringia (Greiz district) on Tuesday afternoon when an 8-year-old ran onto the street from the right and collided with the car. The driver stopped her car for a moment and then fled the scene of the accident. The girl was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. A little later, the police officers were able to stop the 68-year-old in her apartment with the help of the passers-by present. The police are investigating the accident.
