Themar (dpa/th) - Remains of New Year's Eve rockets set fire to and destroyed a quad in Themar (Hildburghausen district). According to the police on Sunday, the owner of the four-wheeled motorcycle had collected the fireworks batteries that had just burned out and left them on the back of his vehicle. Shortly thereafter, the remains ignited. In addition to the quad, a car, a car trailer and a house facade were also affected. Nobody was injured, the police put the damage at 50,000 euros.
