Erfurt (dpa/th) - After a two-year break, Thuringia's largest consumer fair started in Erfurt on Saturday. The focus of the nine-day Thuringia exhibition entitled "Building Site Thuringia" is on the topics of house, renovation and new construction. Almost 700 exhibitors were expected. The fair runs until March 5th. It did not take place in 2021 and 2022 due to the pandemic. Prime Minister Bodo Ramelow was also present at the opening.
In times of the energy crisis, future technologies and energy will be the focus this year. Aside from the construction area, other topics should also attract visitors - such as garden, living and household, enjoyment, regional and fashion. Several special shows and themed days are also planned.
