Heiligenstadt (dpa/th) - On the A38 near Heiligenstadt, a truck broke through the central barrier around 200 meters in length. Debris was thrown onto the road in the accident on Tuesday afternoon, and a car could no longer avoid it, according to the highway police inspection. Fortunately no one was injured. The cause of the accident is assumed to be a technical defect in the steering of the semi-trailer truck, it was said.
