Kölleda (dpa/th) - Unknowns blew up an ATM in Kölleda in the Sömmerda district and then fled with their loot. The thieves broke into a bank branch in Kölleda early Monday morning around 4 a.m., as a spokesman for the state operations center announced on Monday morning. Accordingly, the previously unknown perpetrators fled with their loot in a car. The manhunt is in full swing - a helicopter is also in use, the spokesman said. It is not yet possible to say how much money was stolen.
