Erfurt (dpa/th) - People in Thuringia have to prepare for a frosty and foggy Saturday. Occasionally there is smoothness, as the German Weather Service announced. The day is supposed to be foggy-cloudy or overcast like high fog. Most of the time there is no precipitation. There is permafrost with temperatures between minus five and minus two degrees.
In the night to Sunday the temperatures drop to minus 9 to minus 13 degrees. In valleys and hollows it can get down to minus 18 degrees under a starry sky. There are few clouds, but fog or high fog in some areas with visibility below 150 meters.
