Gera/Erfurt (dpa/th) - The countdown is on: Young film fans can still apply for the children's jury of the "Goldener Spatz" festival until February 12th. The German Children's Media Foundation announced on Thursday in Erfurt that they are looking for children from Germany and other German-speaking countries aged 9 to 13. The prerequisite is that they enjoy watching and critically discussing films and television programs in the cinema. Another jury is looking for boys and girls between the ages of 11 and 13 who will examine digital offerings such as websites, web series, apps and games.
Both juries award the main prizes of the Children's Media Festival, which will be held in Gera and Erfurt from June 4th to 10th. It is aimed at young audiences and trade visitors.
