To Taiwan – Pelosi wants to visit breakaway province of Bavaria

Nancy Pelosi just can't stop! After her sensational visit to Taiwan, the speaker of the US House of Representatives now wants to visit the next problematic region struggling for recognition of statehood.

With her visit, she wanted to support the "unshakeable commitment of the USA to support the endangered culture in Bavaria", Pelosi made unmistakably clear at her stopover in Tokyo and referred to the long tradition of Oktoberfest in the States.

Similar to Taiwan, the region insists on its independence, but sees itself repeatedly threatened by Berlin's "One Germany" policy. For decades, the rulers there have been covering the Free State, which is diplomatically only recognized by Bhutan and Franconia, with absurd demands and threats.

They have it all: Among other things, the Bavarians should financially support the hopelessly indebted capital of the Federal Republic, which is geographically in a stranglehold on them, or participate against their declared will in projects such as the energy transition propagated by the regime in Berlin - and that, although in the Unlike Taiwan and China, they don't even speak the same language.

Pelosi's visit comes at just the right time for Bavaria, as Prime Minister Markus Söder hopes the USA will back his ingenious idea of using fracking in Lower Saxony to make large parts of northern Germany, which is feared for its aggressive expansion policy, uninhabitable in the long term.

However, out of consideration for the impending outbreak of another conflict of international scope, the US Democrat is lowering expectations. "First and foremost, it's about the beer," Pelosi hinted.

Meanwhile, in Germany, which has claimed the renegade province of Bavaria for itself since 1949, Pelosi's planned visit caused a great deal of irritation: as a provocation and as a sign of military strength, Berlin immediately responded with massive blasting exercises lasting several days in Grunewald.
