Joan Collins celebrated her 89th birthday in May. Last month she briefly suffered from a pinched nerve, but now the TV legend from the 80s cult series "Denver Clan" is dancing and partying again in the pool of her holiday accommodation in France.
In the 1980s, Joan Collins became world famous as the vengeful schemer Alexis Colby in the series "Denver Clan". The actress is now 89 years old, but she is far from thinking about retirement. While she has recently appeared in series such as "American Horror Story" and "Hawaii Five-O", she also appeared as a guest judge on the US edition of "The Masked Singer" this year.
However, last month she suffered from a pinched nerve in her leg, from which she has apparently recovered well in the meantime. In her most recent video, however, Collins can be seen in a blue bikini and a huge straw hat in the pool of her vacation rental in St. Tropez, France. To the 1978 song "Heart Of Glass" by singer Blondie she swings her hips and enjoys life. Exuberantly, she throws her arms in the air and calls out: "Yay, summer".
A spokesman for Collins is said to have now confirmed that she is doing well. This is reported, among other things, by the British "Mirror". "The pain was unbearable but luckily she dealt with it and is fine now," he is quoted as saying, adding that Collins is "enjoying the rest of her holiday in St Tropez" as she continues recovered.
At her side and behind the cell phone camera in this video is her husband Percy Gibson. You can even hear the 57-year-old laugh briefly. Gibson is Collins' husband number five and the two have been married since February 2002. She was with Northern Irish actor Maxwell Reed from 1952 to 1956, British actor, singer, director and composer Anthony Newley from 1963 to 1970, film producer Ronald S. Kass from 1972 to 1983 and the Swedish singer from 1985 to 1987 Married to Peter Holm. Three of her ex-husbands have already passed away. Joan Collins has two children from her second marriage and one from her third marriage.
