Traffic: ADAC expects a busy weekend in the north

At the end of the second week of vacation, one of the busiest weekends of the vacation season is approaching in northern Germany. Since, with the exception of Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg, all federal states are now on summer vacation, a particularly large number of travelers are expected to be on the road between Friday and Sunday, according to the ADAC. The Autobahn 1 between Bremen and Lübeck and the Autobahn 7 in the south are particularly affected. The traffic jams are mostly caused by construction sites along the highway. It's supposed to be particularly crowded on Friday afternoons and Saturdays.
